Nature Sketch Journal

The Nature Sketch Journal pairs blank drawing pages with lined writing pages so a student can sketch and caption observations from the natural world. Families use it to illustrate research papers — the notebook flips around so an audience can see the drawing while the paper is read aloud. Challenge A uses it for first-semester research papers; Challenge B's Research strand uses it alongside the year's science texts (102 amendment, 2026-09-02).
