Before you can invite people outside your family, a Toka moderator reviews your course. Your own family never needs a review.
Submit a course for review
Open the course and find Share outside your family near the bottom of the page. Click Submit for review.
Publish it first — a moderator reviews what learners would see, so a draft can't be submitted.
Add a lesson first — an empty course has nothing to review.
You can keep editing while it waits. The card shows the date once it's approved.
Editing an approved course
Any change to an approved course sends it back for review: a lesson, a block, the title, the artwork, or your display name.
Learners keep studying — people already taking the course see your change straight away.
New invites pause — until a moderator approves the change.
Each editor reminds you of this before you save, so it is never a surprise.
If the course isn't approved
The card shows the moderator's note. Fix what it asks, then click Resubmit.
Nothing goes back on its own — the course waits while you work on it, so a half-finished fix never lands in front of a moderator.
Outside learners are paused — their progress is kept for when it is approved again.
Your family never needs a review
Family courses work exactly as before. Your children can join and study a published course whether or not you ever submit it.
Courses written by a teen
A teen can write and submit their own course. Their parents see the review status and the moderator's note on the course page, but only the teen submits it.
