A collection is an ordered list of books and videos from the library that you can reuse. Build it once, then assign it to a child as a run of tasks, or play its videos back to back.
Make a collection
Open Playlists & Lesson Plans from the planner.
Select New collection.
Give it a Name and pick a Type: Playlist or Lesson plan.
Select Save, then Open to fill it.
The type is only a label for your own sorting — use Show on the list to see one kind.
Add and arrange the steps
Add from Add from the catalogue: search by title, author or publisher and add what you want.
Reorder by dragging a step, or with its up and down arrows.
Add a note to any step with Note, such as "odd problems only". Your child sees the note as the task's instructions once it's assigned.
Assign it to a child
Select Assign to a child.
Choose Which child and a Start date.
Under How to spread it, put everything on one day or spread it out.
Tick the School days you use, and choose How completion is checked.
Select Review, check the summary, then Assign.
Each step becomes an ordinary task you can edit or delete later. There is no single undo, which is why the summary asks you to look first.
Watch it end to end
Watch in order plays every video, one after another, with nothing else on screen. It's handy for a morning of science videos.
Skip around with Previous video and Next video.
Leave with Leave watch mode.
Books and anything without a playable video are skipped, and watch mode lists what it left out.
