Choose how you're notified

Decide whether you hear about each finished task straight away, once an hour, or once a day.

Toka can let you know when your children finish their work. These choices live in Toka Learning, the mobile app, because notifications arrive on your phone.

Pick how often you hear

In the app, open the menu and choose Notification settings. Then pick one:

  • Immediate — a notification each time a task is completed.

  • Hourly digest — one summary of everything finished in the last hour.

  • Daily digest — one summary a day, at the Delivery time you choose.

Choose Save preferences to keep your choice. Each parent chooses for themselves, so one of you can follow along closely while the other gets a single evening summary.

Every notification opens the right screen — the task waiting for your check, or the summary of the day.

On the website

The website doesn't send these notifications, and nothing to set here. What's waiting is always gathered on the website in Waiting on you, with a count on its tile on the planner.
