Add each child once, and every plan, chore and reward follows them from there. It all happens on the Kids page.
Add a child
Open the Kids page.
Click Add child.
Type a Nickname — whatever your family calls them.
Choose an Age range.
Pick an App view.
Click Save.
To change any of it later, click Edit details on their card. Edit avatar gives them a picture of their own.
Choosing an app view
The app view decides what your child sees when they use Toka themselves:
Elementary — big buttons, bright pictures and very little reading.
Middle — a cleaner look with progress bars and streaks.
High school — a calendar, time estimates and a more grown-up feel.
Pick by maturity, not the age range. A confident eight-year-old may love Middle, and that's fine. The two older views also let a child get into their own view with a PIN.
Give a child a PIN
With Middle or High school chosen, click Set PIN on the child's card. They can then sign into their own view on a shared computer without you. Younger children are switched in by a parent instead — see child mode.
See one child's day
On your profile, click a child's name under Family to open their page. It shows that child's tasks for a day, how many are done, and a link to Waiting on you.
How many people a family can have
A family can have up to 14 people — every adult and every child, each counted once.
Once yours has 14, Add child is switched off, with the reason beside it. A child's own login still works: they're already counted, so it adds nobody. See inviting a teen.
Remove a child
Removing a child permanently deletes their profile and everything on it — tasks, finished work, photos, points and chore turns. It cannot be undone.
Click Remove on their card.
Read the summary of what will be deleted.
Type their nickname to confirm, then click Remove child.
