Someone sent you a link to their course? Open it and join for free — only you get access, nobody else in your family.
Join from a link
Open the link. You'll see the course, who made it and how many lessons it has.
Signed in? Click Join course.
No account yet? Click Sign up to join, make your account, and you'll come straight back here.
The course then appears under Courses I'm taking on your Courses page.
A link for a teen
Toka accounts are for adults. If the link is for your teen, sign up first, add them to your family and give them their own login. Then they open the link signed in as themselves.
You'll find their course among your children's courses, and you can study as them or take them out of it.
If the link doesn't work
Expired or switched off — ask whoever sent it for a new one.
Already used — a single-use link works for one person. If that was you, log in and it opens the course again.
Not available right now — the course is paused for a moment. Try again later.
Made in your family — open it from Courses instead; a link doesn't add you.
What the course's author sees about you
Your first name and avatar, and when you started, finished or left. That's all.
They don't see your progress, your lesson count or your scores. They keep that small record after you leave, until the course or your account is deleted.
Leave the course
Open the course and click Leave course beside your name, then confirm. Your progress is kept, but to come back you'll need a new link from the author.
Report a course
If something in it is wrong, click Report this course on the course page or in a lesson. A Toka moderator reads every report, and the author isn't told who sent it.
