Mathematics
Challenge B sets no required maths text — any maths programme may be used at home.

Science: Origins & Chemistry
A year of science in two parts: a study of origins with Defeating Darwinism, and the grammar of chemistry with Discovering Atomos.
The Nature Sketch Journal is a recommended support for the year's science observation and drawing work.
Formal Logic
Students move into formal logic, learning to identify and name fallacies with Reasoning Together: Fallacies and Marvelous to Behold.
CC's Trivium Tables reference chart offers an optional support for formal and informal logic.
The American Experience
Students study America's founding through The American Experience Storybook in the first semester, then prepare and argue a mock trial in the second.
Latin (Henle First Year, Units 1–8)
Students continue Henle First Year Latin, working through Units 1–8 across the year to build vocabulary, forms, and translation fluency.
Cassell's Latin Dictionary and the Trivium Table: Latin reference chart are recommended supports.
Writing & Literature
Students keep developing the persuasive essay with The Lost Tools of Writing while reading five novels and a short-story anthology across the year.
