Set up your family's planner

Choose how children see their list, set the household's daily routine, and adjust points and chore settings.

Family settings holds the choices that shape the whole household's planner. Open it from Family settings on the planner.

Choose how the task list looks

Under Task list layout, pick how children see their day:

  • Combined list — school tasks and chores together, in the order you set.

  • School / Chores tabs — two tabs, so schoolwork and jobs around the house stay apart.

Select Save to apply it. It applies to every child in the family.

Set your daily routine

Daily routine records when your household usually wakes, eats and goes to bed. Chore deadlines come from these times, so "unload the dishwasher after breakfast" lands at the right moment.

  1. With Everyone chosen, fill in Wake up, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime for each day.

  2. Select Same every day beside a row to copy one time across the whole week.

  3. Choose a person's name at the top to give them their own times, like an early riser. Use household time puts them back on the family's times.

  4. Select Save.

Meals you don't share can be switched off with the toggle beside them. Chores tied to that meal then wait until someone has their own time for it.

Points for school tasks

Under Points, set what new school tasks are worth by default. Tasks you have already made keep their value.

Chore settings

Manage opens your chore list. Help improve Toka's chore suggestions shares anonymous totals only — never names or chore details — and you can turn it off at any time.
